Key Account Manager (m/f)
For our client, a well-established company with a strong legacy in the packaging manufacturing industry, we are currently seeking a Key Account Manager to join and strengthen their sales team.
This role is responsible for managing and developing existing key accounts, identifying and acquiring new business opportunities, and providing ongoing customer support, including technical advisory services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver sales targets in terms of volume while ensuring profitability and compliance with company policies and procedures
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients
- Provide continuous support to customers throughout the entire sales and post-sales process
- Monitor and analyse customer performance, including revenue and profitability
- Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts and actively pursue new clients
- Develop a strong understanding of the assigned territory (within a 50 km radius of existing customers) and its market potential
- Gain insight into customers’ procurement, production, and sales processes to better support their needs
- Represent the company professionally and contribute to a positive brand image
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Sales, Engineering & Design, Quality, Planning & Procurement, Logistics, Production, and Finance
Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics or a related field
- 3–5 years of experience in a similar sales or key account role
- Advanced in English (both written and spoken) at a minimum B2 level
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Results-driven with a proactive and customer-oriented approach
