This role offers a unique opportunity to lead the setup and scale-up of the Downstream Production Unit at one of the largest biosimilar manufacturing investments in Europe. Glavne zadaće odabranog kandidata će biti:
- Oversee biologics (biosimilar) downstream production processes to ensure full compliance with GMP, HSE, and applicable regulatory standards
- Lead a team working across two purification lines in 3-shift operations
- Manage all purification, isolation, and concentration stages
- Ensure strict adherence to safety, quality, and hygiene protocols at all times
- Analyze production metrics and QC data to ensure batch-to-batch consistency and identify areas for continuous improvement
- Monitor and control inventory of raw materials and finished drug substances to ensure uninterrupted production and compliance with pharma standards
- Drive process optimization to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure product quality
- Develop and manage the unit's operational budget, ensuring smart and effective resource allocation
- Integrate digital and smart manufacturing technologies to enable predictive maintenance, real-time quality control, and traceability
- Hire, onboard, and develop your production team, fostering a high-performance and compliance-driven culture
- Translate organizational goals into training programs, ensuring your team is equipped to meet the highest quality standards
- Collaborate closely with upstream, QA, QC, warehouse, and packaging departments
- Represent the downstream unit in internal audits and external inspections
Od kandidata očekujemo:
- 5+ years of experience in downstream biologics or biopharma manufacturing
- Technical degree in biotechnology, pharmacy, chemistry, or a related field
- Expertise in protein purification, filtration, and aseptic fluid handling is a plus
- Proven leadership skills and ability to build, manage, and motivate teams
- Fluent in English
- Adaptability and problem-solving mindset
